Your advice about "The View from RT" is a great idea. However, I think I should avoid further rebranding efforts and stick with the latest: The Short Story Reader's Digest. I am at my core a reader of short stories, and all my current limitations persuade me to limit my focus (which otherwise tends to meander). Other than Hemingway, who are your favorite short story masters?

ReplyDeleteI love Hemingway's short stories, of course, "The Killers" and "The Battler" being his best in my viwe.
I also love F. Scott Fitzgerald's "Pat Hobby" short stories (Hobby is a hack Hollywood writer), as well as O'Henry and Somerset Maugham.
There are so many good short stories out there...
