Retired Navy Petty Officer Sings 'God Bless America' In Honor Of Veterans Day

Retired Navy Petty Officer Generald Wilson appeared on Fox News and sang God Bless America in honor of Veterans Day.

When retired Navy Petty Officer Generald Wilson performed “God Bless America” at the 2013 World Series in St. Louis earlier this year, he managed to give crowds, as well as millions of viewers across the country, goosebumps.

And in honor of Veterans Day, Wilson is back by popular demand to exercise his pipes and inspire more audiences.

“Veterans Day is, of course, a day to appreciate and acknowledge the veterans before us and the veterans now that went out to fight for this great country,” he explains.

“’God Bless America,’ me being a Christian, is a way to just be able to sing a prayer,” he adds. "A lot of people say ‘God bless America,’ but America needs to bless God. We still need to acknowledge that it’s God that blesses us.”
