Blinded By Greed: U.S. Sailor Sentenced To 34 Years In Espionage Case

Petty Officer 2nd Class Bryan Minkyu Martin was sentenced to 34 years for attempted espionge and other charges by a military judge at the Norfolk Naval Station.

U.S. Sailor Pleads Guilty To Attempted Espionage And Other Charges


Petty Officer 2nd Class Bryan Minkyu Martin pleaded guilty today at his court martial in Norfolk, Virginia for attempting to sell classified information to a person he believed was a Chinese intelligence officer.

Loose Lips Still Sink Ships: U.S. Sailor To Be Court-Martialed For Attempted Espionage

The Virginian-Pilot reports that Bryan Minkyu Martin, an enlisted sailor accused of attempted espionage and other charges, is scheduled to be court-martialed at Norfolk, Virginia on May 19th.

Martin was arrested by the FBI and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service as he attempted to sell classified material to an undercover federal agent.

Fort Bragg Spy Case To Be Tried At Naval Station Norfolk

U.S. Navy Petty Officer Bryan Minkyu Martin, the enlisted Naval intelligence specialist charged last Thursday with several counts of attempted espionage and mishandling classified information, will face those charges at Naval Station Norfolk, The Fay Observer reports.

Martin (seen in the above U.S. Navy photo) is being held in the Naval Brig in Norfolk, Virginia.
