Vladimir Putin, the ex-KGB officer and current Prime Minister of Russia, is suffering criticism of his spy agencies, according to the Scottish newspaper The Herald. The FBI's round up of the Russian spy ring in the United States and other intelligence failures have made the once powerful Soviet spy agencies look like rank amateurs.
