More Brian Williams Bull?: Former Navy SEAL Doubts Brian Williams Flew With SEAL Team Six

Did Brian Williams tell even more fabricated war stories?

Bruce Golding at the New York Post reports on Brian Williams' SEAL Team Six stories.

A former Navy SEAL is publicly questioning claims by disgraced NBC anchor Brian Williams that he flew with members of the famed SEAL Team Six during the Iraq War — and that one of them sent him a souvenir from the daring commando raid that killed Osama bin Laden.

“My initial reaction is it sounds completely preposterous. There’s a healthy dislike towards embedded journalists within the SEAL community,” ex-SEAL sniper and best-selling author Brandon Webb told The Huffington Post.

“I can’t even remember an embed with a SEAL unit. And especially at SEAL Team Six? Those guys don’t take journalists with them on missions.”

Webb, who helped train the late “American Sniper” Chris Kyle, also doubted that Williams — currently suspended for lying about his experiences covering the Iraq War — was actually given a piece of a high-tech chopper used to infiltrate bin Laden’s hideout in Pakistan in 2011.
