On This Day In History April Fools Tradition Popularized


As History.com notes, on this day in 1700 English pranksters began popularizing the annual tradition of April Fools' Day by playing practical jokes on each other.

Note: On April Fools' Day many years ago I took a beautiful girl out on our first date. I married her a couple of years later and we are still together.
