Feral Cat Survivor Of Murdered Litter Turns 14

Although I'm a dog guy, my wife and I took in a feral kitten 14 years ago after the rest of her litter was murdered by a neighbor who hated cats.

Previously, I had a dislike of cats myself, as our late dog Duchess often took on the feral cats that entered our yard, but I would never kill innocent kittens. 

The only survivor of the litter was the runt of the litter, a female we named Kit. She will be celebrating her 14th birthday this month.
